What You Will Learn

Our DJ course curriculum gives you all the skills you need to become a professional DJ. You don’t need any experience to start!

In your first lessons, you’ll learn how to use the industry-standard Rekordbox DJ software to create playlists, organise your music and prepare your DJ sets. You’ll learn how to source your music like a pro and plan for incredible DJ performances!

On the decks, we’ll show you how to use the industry-standard Pioneer DJ setup from the basic to the most advanced functions. We’ll help you become comfortable with the latest technology used by the biggest DJs in the industry.

Once you’ve mastered the basic skills of beatmatching, phrasing, harmonic mixing and EQing, you’ll be shown how to make your transitions more creative. Using the advanced features of the CDJs and the mixer, your tutor will encourage you to wow the audience with interesting mixes and combo effects. This is your time to shine as an artist!

In the advanced lessons, we’ll prepare you for your first DJ performance. You’ll learn how to overcome common issues and deliver a high-energy performance like a true pro.

On graduation from the course you’ll receive the LSA Pro DJ certification and be invited to join a private community group where you can apply for DJ gigs in the UK and Ibiza.

After you have paid, you will receive an email from us with a link to choose your lesson days and times. There are twelve 2-hour lessons in the course. Remember, these are 1-1 lessons so you’ll have your own studio and expert tutor!
