Why is Ministry of Sound one of the most important gigs for a DJ?

Ministry of Sound is steeped in electronic music history. Since it's launch it's played host to a roll-call of famous DJs. It's an honour to say you have played at Ministry of Sound and been part of its enigmatic history. Being one of the most famous clubs and record labels in world, having Ministry on your list of gigs played means you'll be taken seriously in the music industry. Ministry have a stricht quality control when it comes to booking DJs so only the best DJs can play at the club. All our DJ course graduates can play because they are highly trained in using the same decks the club uses, the Pioneer CDJ2000s. We've had our DJs play in all rooms of the club, including the Loft, BabyBox, 103 and on the main stage, the Box!

The gig that will change your DJ career.

Once you've played with us at Ministry of Sound you'll have your DJ name on official artwork and listings. This is incredibly useful when pitching for other gigs or to a DJ agency. It shows that you're good enough to perform professionally. Often, many of our students go onto being booked for many more clubs, in the UK and abroad after an appearance at Ministry of Sound. It's also important to have the official artwork so that you can apply for artist profiles on DJ websites like Resident Advisor. An artist profile on RA will raise your profile as a DJ.

A record of an amazing experience at Ministry of Sound

We often have our own photographer at our events who will take your photo on the decks, meaning you have a great record of your time playing in the club and some photos of you performing to show other promoters. In todays age of social media this is the perfect way to boost your DJ career and aim to get more gigs and more fans.
